| Who are the interims? Our interims come from all industries, functions and backgrounds – but they are all senior. Typically they have spent at least 10 years in senior management positions. Many people on our panel have opted out of permanent employment because they enjoy the flexibility of interim working, and the different organisations and challenges it brings them. Some have been entrepreneurs who have sold their businesses and now want to bring their expertise to others; we have many senior women returning to the workforce after raising families; others have decided to take some time out between permanent posts and do some interim work instead; a small number are nearing the final stages of their career and can offer great business experience and wisdom to young, growing companies.
